Not this last winter but the one before that, we did a truly wonderful show out of Boston, at the wonderful Wang Center. Mezzo-soprano Susan Graham joined us, as did the artist-run ProArte Chamber Orchestra. We had a fine enough time that we thought we'd like to play the show again, so that's what we're doing. This weekend.
July 16, 2005 rebroadcast with Paula Poundstone and Vince Giordano
This weekend we're rebroadcasting a great Joke Show, the one we recorded on April 17, 2004, right here in St. Paul. Comedian Paula Poundstone was with us, and Vince Giordano played his bass saxophone with Rich Dworsky, and the Guy's All-Star Shoe Band did their thing. It was a great show, perfect for a repeat.

This week we'll rebroadcast one of our favorite shows, from a few Valentine's Days ago, straight out of Spartanburg, South Carolina. It's a good one, with mandolin virtuoso and bluegrass rebel Sam Bush, and the flatpickin' folk guitar stylist Doc Watson. Guy Noir works out the mystery of some stolen grits, too.

This weekend we're headed to the Chastain Amphitheater in Atlanta, where we'll welcome opera singer Jan Grissom (a soprano), blues singer Precious Bryant, and the prolific Sam Bush on mandolin.
