DUET (SING):
They say that breaking up is hard to do.
Now I know, I know that's true.
Don't say that this is the end,
Instead of breaking up I wish that we were making up again.
GK: Everybody knows it so why shouldn't we make it public--
SW: I think we should.
GK: Sara and I broke up. It's true.
SW: We're still friends. In fact, we're closer than ever. No regret, no anger, just a sense of gratitude for how wonderful it was and how intense, and it changed my life, and what can I say? I love you.
GK: I love you. It was beautiful, it was so beautiful that it took over our lives.
SW: I'll always love you but I can't be with you because I love you too much. It was a love so powerful that we knew it was going to destroy us like moths drawn to a flame...so --we sensibly brought it to an end.
GK: And now we're the best of friends.
SW: And I'm with Harold who is a tech person and is the man I've always longed for who can install new software in my computer and repair anything that goes wrong and now suddenly I can listen to iTunes, I can video-conference, I can take incredible photographs with my iPhone -- Harold has changed my life.
GK: And I have met Jessica who has gotten me into yoga.
SW: I didn't know you'd found someone...
GK: Yes. Jessica. I sent you an e-mail about her.
SW: Oh.
GK: She's wonderful. She's not you, I didn't replace you. I couldn't. But she's good for me.
SW: How did you meet her?
GK: Through yoga.
SW: I didn't know you were into yoga.
GK: I wasn't until I met Jessica.
SW: Oh. Okay. Well, I'm glad you're happy. And I love Harold and the way he's opened up my life even though I miss the wild passionate almost delusional romance I had with you. So tell me about Jessica.
GK: Well, she's very serious about yoga.
SW: Is she-- you know-- how is she in-- (KK KK)
GK: We don't do that.
SW: You don't KK KK?
GK: When you're deeply into yoga, you don't feel any urge to.
SW: What a coincidence. Harold is so absorbed in electronics that he has no libido at all. Zero. Which is fine. I mean, we have a wonderful relationship in its own way -- don't look at me like that.
GK: I'm not looking at you.
SW: You are looking at me.
GK: I'm looking out the window.
SW: You're looking at my reflection.
GK: Hey-- you just touched me.
SW: It was an accident.
GK: It didn't feel like an accident.
SW: We better be careful.
GK: I feel something crazy happening.
SW: So do I. You better go.
GK: I'm not sure I can.
SW: Please.

They say that breaking up is hard to do...
now I know, I know that it's true...
Don't say that this is the end,
instead of breaking up I wish that we were making up again...
Don't take your love away from me.
Don't you leave me here in misery.
Oh darling I'll be true, cause breaking up is hard to do.
