Tim Russell (BUSH): Hi. I'm George W. Bush. And I just wanted to wish all the folks out there a great summer, and encourage you all to do some summer reading. I know a lot of you folks out there are doing it already. I know this because I've got a list from all of America's libraries and bookstores that tell me exactly what you all are reading. For example. I know that Margaret Anderson of Shell Lake, Wisconsin is reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. She's 65 years old, but hey--whatever floats your boat. Lurline MacGruder of Sioux City, Iowa is reading He's Just Not That Into You. Good for you, Lurline. By the way, I hear Dennis Kucinich is still available. Timothy Ritholtz of Eugene Oregon is reading Who Moved My Cheese? And it's not the first time he's checked it out, either. Probably the 4th or 5th time. So Timothy--I hope that whatever your problem is, you figure it out soon and move on to another book. Because summer reading is supposed to be fun. If you don't believe me, ask Doreen Atkinson, of Fort Worth, Texas. She's reading Lady Chatterley's Lover. Kind of a steamy novel about a woman who has an affair. She's also checked out Anna Karenina, and Madame Bovary. Same thing, more or less. And I think that her husband has a right to know. I know that if Laura had her nose in Dostoevsky or something of that sort, I'd want to know about it pronto. One of my daughters is reading the Old Testament prophets this summer and I just support her in that. And my other daughter is reading John Grisham. Or dating him, I forget which. Reading is fun. It's fun for you, and it's fun for me to get to see what you're reading. I'm George W. Bush, and have a nice summer.
