.....brought to you by the Ketchup Advisory Board. (MUSIC)

TR: These are the good years for Barb and me. The kids are gone and the dog is dead, and Sunday morning we get to lie around and read the paper and do the crossword and nobody walks into the room to tell us that we don't know anything, that we have no concept of how they feel and how unfair we are. When somebody walks into the room, it's only Barb, to say...

SS: Care for more coffee?

TR: Sure. You want to go to a movie later?

SS: Sure.

TR: Catch a movie and get some Thai take-out and bring it home and eat dinner in bed and then make passionate love and take a nap and sit around and watch TV or read a book without anybody coming in and saying how we've ruined their lives?

SS: Sounds like a plan.

TR: What movie?

SS: Oh, you choose.

TR: Tell me what you want to see----

SS: You don't like the movies I like.

TR: Like what?

SS: You know. The romantic comedy where the sort of quirky girl meets the geeky guy and everybody has nice hair and big gorgeous apartments and the guy is extremely considerate and they have this little argument and break up and then he chases her through a mall and they make up and they hop on a plane to Paris ---- that sort of movie. The sort of movie you like is one that starts with a nude scene and then a car blows up.

TR: We'll go to a romantic comedy then.

SS: You don't mind?

TR: It's fine.

SS: You sure?

TR: Sure.

SS: What put you in such a good mood?

TR: Maybe it was the ketchup I had for breakfast. It has those natural mellowing agents you know that make people so much easier to live with.

SS: You want to go to the 1 o'clock or the 3 o'clock?

TR: Whichever. (MUSIC)

RD (SINGS):

Life is for living, sunrise to sundown,
Life on the back roads, through the little towns
Warm and mellow like ketchup on hash browns.

GK: Ketchup....for the good times.

RD (SINGS): Ketchup.....ketchup...ketchup...
