GK: It's membership week at public radio and here's a voice we haven't heard from yet, Mr. Fred Farrell.....(JUNGLE CALLS, BIRD CRIES)
TR: This is Fred Farrell coming to you live from my Fred Farrell Animal Call Showroom here on University Avenue, a few doors west of Midway Neon Supply, getting ready for our Fall Clean-Up Close-Out Sale on duck and goose calls. (DUCK, GOOSE) Did you know we're the only duck call manufacturer that makes a four-in-one duck call?
GK: No, I didn't.
TR: Well, we do. Our call includes the duck declarative (SFX), the duck interogative (SFX), the duck infinitive (SFX), and the duck clearing its throat (SFX). Same with the goose call. (4 SFX).
GK: That's interesting.
TR: Are you a hunter?
GK: No, I'm not.
TR: I didn't think so. --- Today we're out beating the bushes for folks who listen to public radio and don't contribute money to help keep it going. They're out there crouched in the ravines and we need to get em moving, so we use this membership call. (CONDOR CALL).
GK: TAKE
TR: Kinda surprised you there, didn't I. The public radio membership call is guaranteed to get people up and on their way to the phones right away. (CONDOR)
GK: I see.
TR: We sent this call out to all of our stations and they're standing by right now to use it if people don't phone in.
(PAUSE)
So that's why I think you should give a call and support public radio and afterward you can come down to the Showroom and we'll talk about geese. (GOOSE SFX)
GK: Thank you, Fred Farrell. The name to trust when it comes to animal calls. (JUNGLE, BIRD CRIES)
